Studio is Open + My Weekly Yoga Classes

Flourish Body + Soul is now open in Port Jervis, NY! We put in so much work over the past six weeks, and it all came together beautifully. Around 150-200 people came out to our grand opening, and we are now offering a variety of yoga classes in the space.

You can check out full the class schedule for Flourish Body + Soul here, and you can sign up and register for classes on their site. You can also find us on the MindBody app, which lets you conveniently see schedule, sign up, and pay for classes on your phone.

So far, here are the yoga classes I’m teaching weekly at Flourish Body + Soul:

Tuesdays, 12-1pm
Lunch Hour Yoga: Vin + Yin Yoga – 30-60 minutes

During this special lunch hour class, we will accommodate your work schedule so that if you can only stay for 30 minutes, there will be a pause in class at the 30 minute mark for you to slip out quietly. For the full hour class, we will be doing 30 minutes of Vinyasa, then 30 minutes of juicy stretching with Yin Yoga. It’s a perfect moment for you to relax and rejuvenate yourself during the middle of a hectic workday. Class will run 30-60 minutes depending on when you leave.

Wednesdays, 7:15-8:15
Candlelight Restorative Yoga

Are you frazzled, stressed, depressed, or just plain tired? Restorative Yoga is for you. It’s a form of yoga that helps you learn to calm your nervous system down so that you can fully relax and come into a place of stillness, peace, and rest. Using props for each pose in the light of a myriad of candles, you will melt into tranquility. RY is also the perfect practice of yoga for the active, fit person who needs to reclaim balance in their bodies so that they don’t overly stress their nervous system with higher intensity fitness.

Thursdays, 7:30-8:30

Fridays, 5:30-6:30
Slow Flow + Restore Yoga – 60 minutes
After a long and busy work week, how about starting off the weekend with a little yoga to recharge and refresh your spirit for the rest of your weekend? This class will be a combo of 40 minutes of slow flow Vinyasa and 20 minutes of Restorative Yoga. This balanced practice will get you moving and flowing with Vinyasa but will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed with Restorative at the end of class. Weekend, here we come! Class will run full 60 minutes.
